Large Worry Doll in Textile Pouch

This little doll has been hand crafted by one artisan in a village in Guatemala. Placed in the textile pouch with the doll is the traditional worry doll story of how the doll will take your worries away.

The beautiful doll and story are presented in a brightly woven textile bag that represents this wonderful  bright culture. This gift can travel with you and is a thoughtful gift for a friend.

Each doll measures approx 6 cm in length.

The Doll and coloured textile bags come in different colours, which are picked at random when you order. Should you require a specifc colour please leave us a message and we shall try and oblige.

Please note: as these dolls have been made by different artisans they may differ  from one another making them each unique: they are all lovely.

Our range of worry dolls from Guatemala are all produced by co-operatives from various villages. 

For the most part the production of these items is undertaken by women’s groups and co-operatives to raise funds for their villages. The money earned provides much needed funds for basic necessities and also funds small scale infrastructure projects within their communities.

All goods are ethically produced and all artisans and workers involved in every steps of the production are fairly paid for their skills and work.
